Social distancing – a phrase that until recently we’ve never really used. But now, we hear this phrase multiple times every day. We are definitely experiencing something very few of us has ever experienced in our lifetime. While browsing through some older portraits I shot, I thought it would be nice to document families during this strange time.
The idea is simple – I come to you. I maintain a safe social distance. You and your family pose on your front porch (or other area around your home). I spend about 5 minutes behind the camera, you and your family smile, talk, goof off – whatever! Afterwards, I edit the images and place them in a gallery for you to view. Download the images you like. There is no charge for the shoot or the digital files!
What to wear? Totally up to you. Ideas range from coordinated casual attire to ‘quarantine’ attire, which includes pajamas, slippers, messy hair, and maybe even an adult beverage.

The fine print – currently I am available to shoot weeknights after 6pm and on weekends. Due to travel times, Front Porch Portraits is currently being limited to the greater Dalton area. Again – there is no charge for the shoot and no charge for the digital files. If you would like prints or canvases, those can certainly be purchased.
I look forward to documenting this crazy time with you and your family!
